How is your seal attached?

Look at the old profile on the refrigerator door. How is it held in place?

Insert-type seal

Insert Type

The seal has a foot that simply presses into a groove in the door – no tools needed

Screw-on seal

Screw-On

The profile is attached directly to the door with screws

Seal without magnet

Without Magnet

Round profile or lip profile, usually glued or clamped in place

Does your seal have a magnetic strip?

The magnetic strip sits inside the rubber profile and makes the door close magnetically. Check the back or inside of the profile.

With Magnetic Strip

The profile contains an embedded magnetic strip – the door closes magnetically

Without Magnetic Strip

Rubber profile only, no magnet embedded – the door only closes by pressing shut

Dimensions of the old seal

Measure the width and height of the profile cross-section in mm. The groove width is only relevant for insert-type seals and can be left blank.

Tolerance: ±3 mm
